Stillness to Meet Life with Presence

My name is Yang. I am a Usui Holy Fire Reiki Practitioner and a Traditional Yang-style Tai Chi instructor.

In my work, stillness is not about stepping away from life. It is about creating space to meet it with more presence, clarity and care. Sometimes that begins in quiet rest. Sometimes through movement. Sometimes through learning something new.

Reiki

Sometimes what we need is not to do more, but to have somewhere to pause and receive.

Reiki offers a quiet space to slow down and rest. People come for different reasons: perhaps for some space from stress and anxiety when life feels unsettled, or simply for an opportunity to reconnect with themselves.

I take time to understand what has brought you to the session and let that guide how Reiki is offered, creating the conditions for your own experience to unfold.

Traditional Tai Chi

Stillness can also be found through movement.

Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese internal martial art practised through movement, attention and the cultivation of Qi. I practice traditional Yang-style Tai Chi. My teaching is non-combat and keeps that traditional foundation while making the practice accessible for modern wellbeing and embodied awareness. I offer two ways to practise:

Tai Chi for Wellbeing — a welcoming group practice for mindful movement, balance, mobility and the enjoyment of learning with others.

Tai Chi for Healers — a specialist practice for healers and energy practitioners interested in grounding, sensitivity and working more directly with Qi.

A Practice of Presence

Reiki and Tai Chi take different paths into stillness: one through rest and receiving, the other through movement and practice.
